Denham Springs, La. - A Walker police officer, a rape suspect and the suspect's relative were all arrested July 24 after deputies with the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office responded to a disturbance complaint in Denham Springs.

When deputies arrived at the scene at 22600 Walker South Road, a Walker Police Officer had  19-year-old Raymond Robison in custody for allegedly engaging in sexual acts with a juvenile.

While responding, the officer, identified as James Dipuma, allegedly struck Robison several times. Officer Dipuma also allegedly failed to stop Robison's family member from hitting the suspect while in Dipuma's custody.

Dipuma, 32, of Denham Springs, was booked with malfeasance in office and second-degree battery.

Robison was booked with molestation of a juvenile, resisting an officer, and aggravated rape. He is currently jailed at the Livingston Parish Detention Center in lieu of a $150,500 bond.

Robison's relative, Charles Madgett, 45, of Denham Springs was booked with simple battery.
