Fan arrested after running onto Saints practice field

Metairie, La. - A Houma man is in police custody after he stormed the Saints practice field Friday.

A spokesman with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office says 59 year-old David Mobley was arrested around 10:40am by officers assigned to the New Orleans Saints Training Camp facility after he walked onto the practice field without authorization.

When the detail officers were made aware of Mobley's presence on the field, they approached him and attempted to escort off the field.

Mobley became combative and, following a brief struggle, was placed under arrest.

He was booked with one count each of Remaining After Forbidden, Resisting Arrest, and Battery on a Police Officer.
