Baton Rouge, La. - LSU head football coach Les Miles announced Monday evening that, after a team vote, previously suspended running back Jeremy Hill has been reinstated to the team.
Monday morning, a judge ruled that Hill's probation would be extended but that he would not serve a jail term. The ruling meant that Hill was free to play football, if he was reinstated.
Miles said the sophomore running back looked rusty in his first practice back Monday afternoon and that there will be further internal punishment. He did not specify if Hill will be suspended for any games.
In the meantime, Miles said that senior running back Alfred Blue is the starter in the backfield.
