Ms Annie Chicoye has joined Mapi, as the Global Director for Market Access. Ms Chicoye comes to Mapi from the ESSEC Business School Paris-Singapore where she is responsible for business development in the Healthcare Sector, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region, where she established the Asia-Pacific Branch of the Institute. She will maintain an ongoing professional relationship with ESSEC as she takes over leadership for Mapi's Global Market Access initiatives. Ms Chicoye brings a wealth of experience and capability to Mapi. She has served as civil servant in the French Ministry of Health, before joining a major pharmaceutical company where she initiated the Government Affairs and Health Economics Department. She funded and managed a leading consulting company internationally connected with Europe and the US. She then held a position of Senior Principal at IMS Health Consulting before joining ESSEC Business School as the Executive Director of the Health Economics and Management Institute.
Mapi is also pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Alan Blazei as Chief Financial Officer. Formerly CFO of Entelos Inc. and Maxxim Medical Inc., Mr. Blazei comes to Mapi with an extensive background in financial management in both private and public companies in the Life Sciences and Medical Device Industries.
Mr. William Deam has also joined the Mapi team to play a key role in shaping Mapi's technology strategy as the company's Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Deam brings to Mapi a wealth of experience and knowledge of information technology as it is applied to the clinical research industry. A 30-year veteran, Mr. Deam most recently spent six years as Executive Vice President and Global CIO for Quintiles. Mr. Deam's senior IT experience and management positions at Quintiles, AC Nielsen and Burmah Castrol, bring a unique blend of knowledge, vision and expertise to this rapidly changing global industry.
Mr. Kurt Munson has joined Mapi as Senior Vice President Global Business Development and Marketing. Mr. Munson brings the experience of nearly two decades in the healthcare industry as the former Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Symphony Health and Wolters Kluwer and VP of Business Development at Focus Diagnostics.
