After Further Review: Three things to key in on in Saints vs. Bucs

Updated:

1.) Saints pass catchers vs. Tampa Bay pass defenders

Here in Tampa, there is a billboard at Raymond James Stadium that reads "No Fly Zone" with a picture of cornerback Darrelle Revis, safety Dashon Goldson and safety Mark Barron.

It's a sign designed to promote what they believe is the best secondary in the NFL.

This offseason Tampa Bay spent big bucks on bringing in Revis and Goldson. According to the Tampa Bay Times, the Saints were THE reason that money was spent on that group. They want to shut down the Saints high-octane offense.

But that's nothing new to the Saints. Every team comes in with the game plan to do that.

We'll see today if the Bucs' money is money well spent.

2.) Saints' offensive line

The most disappointing part of last week's win over Atlanta was the offensive line.

They must get better this week. Tampa Bay has a very active front seven that produced five sacks against New York.

This unit's effort also played a role in the lack of production in the ground game last week. I know Coach Payton wants a better rushing attack. A better effort up front will help that.

3.) Saints banged up defensive line

Broderick Bunkley, Tyrunn Walker and Glenn Foster are all out. Akiem Hicks and Tom Johnson are both questionable for Sunday.

If all five are out, that's a big blow to depth to a unit that is perhaps the most improved part of this team.

How will that impact the game and Rob Ryan's game plan?

Hopefully they'll have one or both of their questionable players ready to go. Hicks in particular was a force last week. But if not, how the Saints manage along the defensive line will definitely be something I'll be keying in on.

Prediction

Saints 27
Tampa Bay 20
