Man wanted for shooting in Tangipahoa Parish

New Orleans, La. - Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Deputies are searching for a man wanted for a shooting. The incident took place Sunday at 4:45 p.m. at 18513 of Sister's Road in Ponchatoula. Police responded to the Circle K convenience store on Hwy 22 where they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the face.  

According to police, detectives learned from witnesses that 54-year-old Kenneth "Baron" Baker shot the victim and that the shooting occurred on Sisters Rd. and not the convenience store.

The victim has been transported to a New Orleans hospital where he is listed in stable condition.  
 
Baker is wanted for Attempted Second Degree Murder. Anyone with information of his whereabouts is urged to call the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office or Crimestoppers.
