Thibodaux, La.- A chance 9-1-1 call by a child led police to a burglary suspect they'd been trying to find for months.

Police say Deonte Truehill was one of three people suspected of breaking in and stealing a television from an acquaintance they knew was working offshore on April 27. The other two men were arrested several months ago.

September 18th, police say a child playing with a phone dialed 9-1-1 from the 1000 block of Talbot Avenue. When police went to check the home they found Truehill taking a shower and took him into custody.

Truehill is booked with simple burglary and failure to appear on DWI charges. He'd being held in the Lafourche Parish Detention Center on $52,500 bond.
