Two shootings leave one man injured and one man dead


Detectives with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating two separate shootings that left one man dead and one man injured. The first shooting occurred around 9:30 p.m. in the 400 block of N. Derbigny St. The second occurred around 10 p.m. in the 3400 block of Paris Ave. 

The victim in the N. Derbigny shooting was found shot multiple times. Police say that the victim is in stable condition. 

The victim in the Paris Avenue shooting has died according to police. That victim was also shot multiple times.
