BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - The LSU Athletic Department is asking for an increase in football and baseball tickets and in some parking fees for both sports.
Athletics Director Joe Alleva wants permission to set ticket prices for home football games according to both the date and the opponent.
He says his proposal would boost season ticket prices for football by six percent - with a maximum of $100 - and would increase the cost of reserved car and RV parking places. Alleva says it would be the first price increase since 2007 for reserved football parking, and 49 percent of parking prices would remain the same.
He says the proposal will be sent to the LSU Board of Supervisors, which meets a week from Friday, Oct. 25.
