Two suspects sought for Harvey bank robbery

Harvey, La. - The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office is searching for two suspects who robbed a Chase Bank Monday morning.

A sheriff's office spokesman says the robbery happened around 9am at the Chase Bank located in the 2300 block of Manhattan Boulevard.

Police say one of the suspects approached a teller, produced a handgun, and demanded money. 

The second suspect remained in the lobby area as a lookout. 

After receiving cash, both suspects exited the bank and entered a getaway vehicle.  The getaway vehicle, which was stolen out of New Orleans, was later located.

One of the suspects was described as a black male, 5'10" to 6'1", weighing approximately 170 to 180 pounds.

The second suspect was described as a black male, 5'8" to 5'10", weighing around 160 to 170 pounds.
