Jefferson Parish authorities are asking for the public's help in finding three brothers who disappeared Wednesday.

A spokesperson with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office said the mother of Raynell Whittaker, 16, Louin Whittaker, 14 and Jwuan Whittaker, 9, left them with a family friend at 1121 Tensas Drive in Harvey. When the friend checked on the boys, she discovered they were no longer in the apartment and called 911.

Investigators said they don't expect foul play is involved in their disappearance, but are concerned for the boy's safety. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
