Slidell police arrest two men they believe committed several vehicle burglaries in the Slidell area.

Detectives say surveillance video of the men helped track them down. They say the men burglarized a doctor's office and several vehicles.

The video caught the men going to vehicles and pulling the door handles in hopes the owners left them unlocked.

Among the things stolen were electronics and firearms. During the arrests, officers also found marijuana and a large amount of crystal meth.

They arrested 24-year-old Jackson Fowler and 26-year-old Brandon Douglas both on 15 counts of simply burglary and several other charges.

Slidell Police Chief Randy Smith credits the community for helping in the investigation.

Chief Smith says the investigation is ongoing and they expect more arrests in the future.
