Fifth Destrehan coach charged with unauthorized access to website

Destrehan, La. - A fifth Destrehan High School assistant football coach has been charged with accessing information about the South Lafourche High School football program without authorization.

The Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office says Lance Ledet was issued a criminal summons.

In all, six people have been charged with Offenses against Intellectual Property in the incident. Five Destrehan coaches including Ledet, Wayne Sentilles, Daniel Luquet, Greg Boyne, and Ryan Fournier each admitted to accessing the website to gain information on the South Lafourche game plan prior to Destrehan's 49-24 win on October 25th.

Fournier's girlfriend, Emily Guidry, has also been charged in the incident.

Detectives say Fournier and Guidry admitted to obtaining the login credentials to access South Lafourche's football account on the website in order to access video of the team's football practices.

Detectives say Fournier then shared those credentials with the four other Destrehan assistant coaches who also accessed the information.

A spokesperson for St. Charles Parish Public Schools released a statement Friday afternoon saying, our internal investigation has concluded. Internal decisions relative to any consequences are personnel matters and will therefore be kept confidential. However, we will notify you of any decisions made regarding the coaches resuming their practice responsibilities. We look forward to moving on and focusing on what is most important-our students and what happens in the classrooms and on the field."
