Slidell Police seek trio of armed robbers

Slidell, La. - Slidell Police are searching for three suspects who robbed a gas station last Thursday night.

A spokesman with the Slidell Police Department says around midnight, two suspects entered the Purple Cow Shell gas station on Old Spanish Trail.  One of the suspects pulled out a small, semi-automatic pistol and demanded cash from the register.

The second suspect stood as a lookout.  Police believe that a third suspect also stood outside of the store and served as a lookout.  The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash, and fled on foot towards Howze Beach Boulevard.

According to the store cashier, one of the suspects is described to be a tall, thin African American male in his early twenties, approximately 6'2" tall, and wearing a distinct, multi-colored camouflage colored hoodie.

The other suspect is described to be a thin African American male in his early twenties, approximately 5'11", and wearing a grey hoodie with writing on the front.

Police were not able to obtain a description of the third suspect who was believed to have been standing outside of the store.
