Tangipahoa Sheriff: Five children found living in deplorable conditions

Natalbany, La. - A Tangipahoa Parish couple faces several charges, after deputies found five children living in what detectives describe a "well beyond deplorable" conditions.  

Yance May and Taylor Kleinpeter were booked with charges including child endangerment and drug possession.
Deputies arrived at the couple's Natalbany home Monday evening to arrest May on an outstanding theft warrant.
Once inside, deputies discovered trash piled up, as well as illegal narcotics and used syringes.
The five children living in the home are between the ages of two and ten. They're now in the custody of a family member.
