Pizza delivery man held up in Gentilly


New Orleans, La. -  Members of the New Orleans Police Department are investigating an armed robbery of a pizza delivery man.

The incident happened this past weekend in the 5700 block of Wildair Dr. in Gentilly.

According to information provided by the NOPD, a 31 year old delivery driver for Domino's Pizza was getting into his car around 6:30 PM, when he was approached by an unknown man.  The suspect reportedly produced a handgun and demanded the driver's money.  Police say the pizza delivery man complied.

Police say the suspect fled on foot with $25.  If you have any information that can help solve this case, you're asked to call Crimestoppers at 822-1111.
