Houma Police: Disabled man tased and robbed


Houma, La. - A disabled man was tased and robbed Monday as he walked home, according to a spokesman with the Houma Police Department.

It happened around 1:30am as the victim was walking home on Acadian Drive near Glynn Avenue.

Police say two suspects stole the victim's cell phone and wallet. The suspects also tased the victim who received moderate injuries to his face. 

The suspects left in a light colored Ford Explorer traveling South on Acadian Drive. Officers patrolled the area and were unable to locate the suspects.
