Updated:

New Orleans -- Lafourche Parish Authorities arrested a man on parole after he was found in possession of drugs and body armor. Brandon Grabert, 26, of Raceland was taken into custody by probation and parole agents following a "home check". Grabert has been on supervised probation since being released from jail six weeks ago.

According to police, probation and parole agents went to Grabert's home to conduct a "home check" due to the terms of his supervised probation. His probation stems from possession of steroids and methamphetamine charges. During the search, officers located methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a bullet-proof vest.

Grabert was taken into custody and booked with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and unlawful use of body armor. His bond has been set to $51,000 and he is being held for Louisiana Probation and Parole.
