Pelicans top Jazz, 105-98

New Orleans, La. - Anthony Davis posted another near-triple-double performance as the Pelicans avenged last week's loss at Utah with a home victory over the Jazz, 105-98, improving their record to 5-6.

Five different Pels posted double digit points but Davis led the way with 22 points, tacking on 9 rebounds and 8 blocked shots.  The second year forward set a career high Saturday with 9 blocks.

After the game, Davis told FOX 8's Jennifer Hale last week's game at Utah "Was a tough loss.  We had that in our minds.  Going on that plane leaving Utah, having that feeling of defeat all three games...we're just trying to make it a good home stand while we're here for a couple of weeks and get things back moving forward."

New Orleans will play host to the Cleveland Cavaliers(4-8) Friday at 7 p.m.
