New Orleans, La. - A developing Gulf low off the coast of Texas will begin sending rainfall our way for much of the day Tuesday.
The warm air will remain to our south with highs the next few days staying in the 50's.
But a surge of much colder air arrives for Wednesday. The morning will begin in the 30's north and south; a light freeze is expected on the Northshore.
Wednesday afternoon highs will remain in the 40s.
Thanksgiving will also start cold, with a hard freeze on the Northshore and light freeze south for areas away from the water.
