Lafayette man surrenders, woman still at large in child sex trafficking case

LAFAYETTE PARISH, La. - Louisiana State Police said a man wanted on charges relating to child sex trafficking surrendered to troopers Wednesday. A woman wanted on the same charges remains at large. 

Alcoby Con LaSalle, 19, of Lafayette, was wanted for trafficking children for sex and promoting prostitution. He turned himself in at the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center at 11 a.m.

The search continues for Darneesha Lashay Martin, 22, of Lafayette. Martin is a black female weighing 116 pounds and is 5'6" tall. She has black hair that may be dyed red. 

The warrants for the suspects' arrests are the result of an ongoing State Police investigation. Anyone with information on Martin's whereabouts is asked to call State Police at (337)  262-3341 or (337) 262-5880.
