The Pelicans can't beat the buzzer against the Warriors

New Orleans, La.- The New Orleans Pelicans battled the Golden State Warriors valiantly Tuesday night, but dropped a tough one point decision at the New Orleans Arena, 102-101.  Eric Gordan's last second bid at a game winning shot was in and out as New Orleans dropped it's second game in as many nights.  The Pelicans lost in San Antonio Monday 112-93.

Klay Thompson paced the Warriors with 22 points and 8 assists as the visitors broke a three game losing streak.  Jermaine O'Neal chipped in 18 points, coming back from missing four games with knee and groin issues.

The pelicans were led by Ryan Anderson, who scored 21 points and hauled in a dozen rebounds.  16 Pelicans turnovers plagued the home team, which dropped to 6-8 on the season.  New Orleans next plays on the road in Philadelphia Friday night.
