NEW ORLEANS - The New Orleans Pelicans have been the NBA's highest-scoring team since November 16, which is when three-point phenom Ryan Anderson made his season debut after missing the first nine games with a broken toe.
The Pelicans' scoreboard success since Anderson's return is not a coincidence. He's notched two 30-plus point games in the month of December. Anderson is ranked 11th in the NBA in overall scoring and second in the league from beyond the arc, shooting 52.9 percent.
Anderson is now replacing the injured Anthony Davis in the starting lineup for New Orleans, so these totals may grow along with Anderson's minutes.
