Final 2 candidates qualify for mayor's race

NEW ORLEANS - A third and a fourth candidate qualified Friday for the New Orleans mayors race, closing out the three-day qualification period for the February election.
Former Civil Court Judge Michael Bagneris qualified just before noon at the New Orleans Clerk of Court's office. Frequent candidate Manny "Chevrolet" Bruno became the fourth candidate Friday afternoon.
On Wednesday, Bagneris resigned from his position as an Orleans Civil District judge.
Incumbent Mayor Mitch Landrieu and local NAACP President Danatus King both qualified on the first day of qualifying Wednesday.

The candidates will have a short amount of time to mobilize voters. The election is scheduled for Feb. 1.
