According to Sony, the new PS4 epitomizes everything PlayStation franchise stands for: immersive game play with neck-snapping speed, powerful graphics, and deeply-integrated social capabilities. Its sleek, modern, elegant exterior exudes power, which Sony hopes will inspire developers to unleash gaming experiences never before possible.

To provide smooth 1080p HD-resolution video, the new gaming console is equipped with a custom 8-core AMD processor, enhanced graphics processing unit (GPU), 8GB of GDDR5 unified system memory, 500GB hard disk, imperceptible forced air cooling, and HDMI output. Peripherals include a flawless DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller and optional PlayStation Camera ($59), both of which come in "Jet Black" color.

The PlayStation 4 takes social connectivity to the next level by letting users share their favorite game play moments with friends. With a press of the "SHARE" button, images and videos can be shared via the activity feed on other PS4 users' Dynamic Menu or on social networking services, such as Facebook. Game play images can also be shared via Twitter, Upstream, and Twitch. During live broadcasts, friends can even make comments on streamed game play.

The Sony PS4 has a suggested retail price of $399, and a library of 30+ PS4-compatible games is expected to be available by year's end. For more information, visit us.playstation.com.

Sleek AIO PC comes with subwoofer and cable-clutter-fighting design

The mission of the new ASUS ET-2322I All-in-One PC is clear: put everything (dazzling display, powerful processor, stunning graphics, abundant storage and memory) in one eye-pleasing space. Others do this, but few as elegantly as ASUS' new flagship PC.

The AIO desktop's clutter-free, space-saving design features a 10-point multi-touch display that curves gracefully from the base, producing the illusion that it's thinner than it is. To maximize convenience and ease cable management, all the I/O ports are in one row on the rear panel.

The unit's 23-inch widescreen LED-backlit display is viewable from almost any angle, thanks to in-plane switching (IPS), and its full HD 1920x1080 resolution lets you enjoy games and movies with amazing detail, color, and contrast. You can even use the ET-2322I as a secondary full HD display by connecting a PC, notebook, or tablet to its HDMI input port. The ET-2322I can also connect to an HDTV via its HDMI output port.

Also included are built-in stereo speakers, internal subwoofer, and an external subwoofer, all employing SonicMaster audio technology for true-to-life surround, distinct vocals, and pristine clarity. Blu-Ray/DVD combo drive, built-in webcam, built-in microphones, wireless keyboard, and wireless mouse are also part of the package.

Powered by 4th generation ("Haswell") Intel Core i-series processors and advanced NVIDIA GeForce graphics, the ET2322I provides both high performance and energy efficiency, consuming less than 60 watts. Bolstered by Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0, the unit easily handles resource-hungry applications and plays video games at all but the most extreme frame rates.

Multiple USB 3.0 ports provide transfer speeds up to 50% faster than USB 2.0, and ASUS Ai Charger II lets you charge your smart phone or tablet via USB even when the ET-2322 is off.

Equipped with an Intel Core i7, 16GB DDR3 RAM, 1TB HDD, external subwoofer, and 64-bit Windows 8, the ASUS ET2322I All-in-One PC lists for $1,299.99. A slightly less capable version with a Core i5 processor and 8GB RAM goes for $1,099.99. For more information, visit ASUS.com.
