Two Marrero men booked on 124 counts of criminal damage


MARRERO, La. – Police are adding 82 counts of criminal damage to the charges of two men already in jail on 42 counts of criminal damage for shooting out car windows with a BB gun.

Christopher Flanagan, 19, and Decotah Hamilton, 20, were booked into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center on Christmas Eve after confessing to shooting cars with a BB gun on Dec. 11, 18 and 24.

Today both suspects were re-booked on an additional 82 counts of criminal damage. More charges are expected as the investigation continues.

According to the Jefferson Parish Sheriffs Office, both suspects were booked on both felony and misdemeanor charges because of the monetary value of each incident.

Flanagan and Hamilton remain in custody at the JPCC booked with a total of 124 criminal damage charges, their bond is now set at $227,000.00.
