Sugar Bowl parade to march through Quarter

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Police say traffic in the French Quarter will be disrupted for a time Tuesday morning by a parade honoring the Sugar Bowl.
The parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. at Pat O'Brien's bar at St. Peter and Royal streets, head down Royal to Bienville Street, turn left on Bienville and disband at Arnaud's restaurant.
RTA bus service in the French Quarter also is expected to be interrupted during the parade, police say.
Teams from the University of Alabama and the University of Oklahoma will play in the Sugar Bowl football game Thursday night at the Superdome.
