Wife drowned at start of rampage buried without name of husband who killed her

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Mourners are remembering the first person killed in a rampage in Lafourche and Terrebonne parishes last week.
Denise Perry's funeral was held Monday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, Miss.
Her obituary dropped the name of the husband whom authorities said strangled and drowned her, then shot five other people before turning the gun on himself Thursday.
Ben Edward Freeman, 38, killed three people and injured three.
Capt. Dawn Foret, a spokeswoman for the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office, says investigators may never know what touched off the killings.
She says Perry's two children were at a family member's house at the time of the attacks.
