Thibodaux man arrested for firing gun at vehicle

New Orleans -- Thibodaux Police Officers have arrested a man for firing a gun at a passing SUV. The incident occurred Sunday around 9:00 p.m. near the intersection of Lagarde and East. 10th Streets. 

Police say that 23-year-old Chase Cleveland was taken into custody following an investigation into a shooting incident. Detectives learned that Cleveland fired several shots at a black SUV as it passed. No one was injured in the shooting. 

Cleveland was booked in the Lafourche Parish Detention Center on two counts of attempted second degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. His bond has been set to $350,000.
