NEW ORLEANS - Everyone who couldn't get tickets to see Elton John at the New Orleans Arena is getting a second chance.

Due to overwhelming demand for tickets, a limited amount of "Premier Choir Seats" will be released for the March 21 show. According to a release put out by Live Nation, the seats are some of the best in the house and will give fans a chance to see Elton John up-close as he makes his first appearance in New Orleans since Hurricane Katrina.

"These seats are very close to the stage and will provide some of the best viewing perspectives for the concert" Alan Freeman, General Manager of The New Orleans Arena said. "By opening these additional seats, we are hopeful that all of Elton's fans in New Orleans will now be able to enjoy a special evening with this musical legend."

Tickets will go on sale Jan. 24 at 10 a.m. for $19. They will be available through Ticketmaster, The New Orleans Arena Box Office or by phone at (800) 745-3000.

Elton John's band includes Davey Johnstone on guitar, Matt Bissonette on bass, John Mahon on percussion, Nigel Olsson on drums and Kim Bullard on keyboards.
