EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) - Bad weather up north forces a last-minute decrease in Super Bowl ticket prices.

The get-in price for tickets on the secondary market has dropped $300 to just above $1,500  over the past few days.

Ticket experts blame snow in this week's East Rutherford forecast for the price drop.

The weather forecast for the first Super Bowl in an outdoor stadium in a cold-weather city is nothing out of the ordinary.

National Weather Service meteorologist Anthony Gigi says the forecast for Sunday's NFL title game at MetLife Stadium calls for temperatures to reach a high of 39 with a low of 27, which is average for the area. There is little threat of precipitation.

Gigi, who is based in Mount Holly, said Monday a system is expected to pass through the region on Saturday night with the potential for a mixture of snow and rain.
