NORTHBOUND LANDS OF CAUSEWAY BRIDGE OPEN UNTIL 6:00PM
After 6:00PM, the Causeway Bridge will remain closed until Thursday morning.
GARBAGE COLLECTION RESUMES REGULAR SCHEDULE TOMORROW
ANNOUNCEMENT FROM JEFFERSON PARISH JUVENILE COURT:
Jefferson Parish Juvenile Court will open during regular hours on Thursday, January 30, 2014.
ANNOUNCEMENT FROM 24TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT:
Pursuant to a decision of the Judges and under the direction of Chief Judge Darensburg, all jurors for the 24th Judicial District Court have been cancelled for Thursday, January 30, 2014. Those individuals previously seated on a jury must report on Friday, January 31, 2014.
Court employees are expected to report on Thursday, January 30, 2014 for normal operating hours unless directed otherwise.
The Jefferson Parish Emergency Operations and Communications Center will continue to be manned by Emergency Management staff throughout this weather event.
All Jefferson Parish government offices will re-open Thursday during regular business hours. Jefferson Parish employees will return to work as scheduled.
Notice to Jefferson Parish water bill customers who pay their water bills due this week in-person or by phone: A late charge will not be assessed due to the government office closures. Bills may be paid in-person at the following locations:

Bill Pay Center at 4500 Westbank Expressway
Bill Pay Center at 721 Terry Parkway
HEAD START CENTER IN GRAND ISLE WILL REMAIN CLOSED TOMORROW
JEFFERSON TRANSIT HAS RESUMED FULL SERVICE
HARD FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL THURSDAY 9AM
The elevated Westbank Expressway is open in both directions, however, with a hard freeze warning in effect, it is possible any remaining ice or water on elevated roads or bridges will re-freeze once temperatures drop to freezing or below freezing later this evening.
The Lapalco Bridge at the Harvey Canal is now open.
All lanes are open on LA 3139, the Earhart Expressway, in both directions from Dickory Avenue to the Jefferson/Orleans Parish line.
Louisiana Hwy 1 at Leeville Bridge is now open.
Interstate-10 through Jefferson Parish remains closed, at this time.
Updates on openings or closures of state roads from the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) are available online.
Entergy reports power has been restored to all Grand Isle customers.
