NOPD investigating two separate shooting incidents

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -- New Orleans Police Detectives are investigating two separate shooting incidents that left two men injured. 

According to police, the first shooting took place, just after 5:00 p.m. in the 3400 block of Pittari Place in Algiers. Officers found a 31-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he is listed in critical condition. 

The second shooting occurred around the same time in the 9000 block of Morrison Road. Police arrived on scene and found a 40-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was also transported to a local hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
