SLIDELL, LA (WVUE) - A Slidell man is behind bars and charged with aggravated rape, aggravated incest, and two counts of producing pornography involving juveniles, according to Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell.

Authorities arrested 54 year-old Patrick Emerson February 21st and booked him into the St. Tammany Parish Jail.

In November 2013, investigators executed a search warrant on Emerson's home in reference to possession of child pornography.

Items seized during the search led investigators to confirm that Emerson not only possessed, but also produced child pornography.  The images and videos of child pornography he produced were under the age of 13 years old.

If convicted, he faces life imprisonment at hard labor on the charge of aggravated rape, 99 years in prison on the charge of aggravated incest, and up to 20 years on each count of producing child pornography.
