Woman carjacked at gunpoint in Bayou St. John

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Police are looking for two men who carjacked a woman at gunpoint in Bayou St. John.

Police say it happened Wednesday just after 8 p.m. as the woman stepped out of her car in the 2900 block of Ursulines Avenue.

The victim told police that a man walked up with a gun and told her to run. Then he and another man jumped into her car and took off.

Police are searching for the victim's white 2009 Mazda 6. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
