ST. LOUIS CATHEDRAL (held at St. Mary's Church/Old Ursuline Convent, 1116 Chartres St.): March 18, preview viewing, 3-6 p.m. On March 19, after 7:30 a.m. Mass at St. Louis Cathedral, Archbishop Gregory M. Aymond will bless the altar at St. Mary's Church (approximately 8:30 a.m.), with public viewing from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Meals will be served in the tent in the back garden from noon to 3 p.m., when the altar will close.

St. Joseph's Church in Gretna/St. Joseph's Day 2013 The Rev. Rick Day of St. Joseph's Church in Gretna said the church's St. Joseph's Day altar is the largest not only in New Orleans, but in the state. On March 19, 2013, Day said 2,000 people were expected to visit.

ST. JOSEPH CHURCH AND SHRINE ON THE WEST BANK, 610 Sixth St., Gretna: Altar located in St. Joseph Complex at Seventh and Newton streets. Sponsored by church, prepared by St. Joseph Women's Club.
