Police search for missing teen in New Orleans East


NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Police are searching for missing teenager in New Orleans East with a history of running away from home.

Jeremiah Mills was last seen by his mother on March 19 around 6:10 a.m. when he left home to catch his school bus. Mills' mother later learned that he did not attend school that day and his mother has not seen or heard from him since.

Jeremiah Mills is described as a 16-year-old black male about 5'4" tall, weighing 140 lbs., last seen wearing his school uniform: a black polo shirt, khaki pants and a gray sweatshirt.

According to police, Jeremiah Mills is in need of his medication.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jeremiah Mills is asked to call NOPD at 821-2222 or call CRIMESTOPPERS at 822-1111.
