Shooting in New Orleans East leaves 1 dead, 1 injured

Detectives with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating a shooting that left one man dead and another injured. The shooting occurred Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. in the 11000 block of Hayne Boulevard. 

According to police, one man died on the scene after being shot multiple times. The second victim, a 24-year-old man, was taken to a local hospital with a graze wound to the head. Police say he is being uncooperative in the investigation. The identities of both men have not yet been released.
