JPSO investigating burglaries at used car lots

JEFFERSON PARISH, LA (WVUE) -- Jefferson Parish Detectives are investigating multiple burglaries that occurred at used car lots.

According to police, the string of incidents began on April 7, 2014 at Bon Prix Auto in the 3700 block of Airline Drive in Metairie. The business's surveillance system captured images of a red or maroon four-door 2006 Chevrolet Impala that the suspects are believed to be driving. Investigators believe that the car was stolen from another used car lot, in the 2000 block of Airline Drive in Kenner, on April 4th.

The suspects again at Bon Prix Auto on April 15, 2014. During that incident, surveillance footage showed one of the suspects was in possession of a gun, holding it in a "ready" shooting position, near the yard of the business. On that same morning, the suspects burglarized the A-Quality Auto Sales lot and the Express Auto lot, both in the 1400 block of North Causeway Boulevard in Metairie.

The most recent incident occurred early Wednesday morning at Deal N Doug's in the 6900 block of Veterans Boulevard in Metairie. Detectives believe that all of the suspects are black males after looking over the surveillance footage. One of the men has multiple tattoos on his right arm.
