A convicted sex offender known as ‘Wolf' has been caught after being on the run since last September, according Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office spokesman Col. John Fortunato.
Glenwood Noel Luther, 40, was wanted on a warrant for failure to register as a sex offender. Deputies believed he was staying in Marrero.
Luther was arrested Thursday at 8:50 a.m. in the 700 block of Leo Kerner in Lafitte. A resident spotted Luther getting into a black vehicle. That person notified officers in the area. Deputies stopped the vehicle and took Luther into custody.
He has a criminal history that includes arrests for possession of methamphetamine, attempted murder, being a felon in possession of a firearm, theft, battery, cruelty to a juvenile, burglary and escape.
