Clippers President taking leave of absence

NEW YORK (AP) - The NBA says Los Angeles Clippers President Andy Roeser is taking an indefinite leave of absence as the franchise tries to stabilize following owner Donald Sterling's ban.

The league announced last week that it was working with the Clippers to appoint a new CEO.

NBA spokesman Mike Bass says in a statement Tuesday that Roeser's leave of absence, which begins immediately, "will provide an opportunity for a new CEO to begin on a clean slate and for the team to stabilize under difficult circumstances."

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver banned Sterling for life and urged owners to force him to sell the Clippers for racist remarks he made.

Roeser is one of the league's longest-tenured executives, having just completed his 30th season with the team. The Clippers lead Oklahoma City 1-0 in the best-of-seven Western Conference semifinals.

So, with that in mind, I'm under the opinion that the Saints should've been 'expected' to look past the Jets to next weeks rematch with the Falcons. How could they not look ahead to Atlanta coming to the dome next Sunday. And before you go all 'One Game at a Time' on me, think for a second. You're supposed to beat the Jets, who came in 5-8 and wi...

Three turnovers against the lowly Jets can still get you a win in this league. Numerous giveaways against the Eagles, Vikings, Rams, or Panthers might not give you the same result in the standings. The Saints end the season with the Falcons and the Bucs. If they want to end the 2017 regular season campaign on a win streak, things need to be cleaned up. "Two fumbles, and at times you're going to score. I just think that's happened too many times to us this year. We're knocking a...
