Jazz Fest attendance tops 435,000

An estimated 435,000 people attended the 2014 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, according to festival organizers.

This year's fest included 12 stages and near perfect weather.

The festival featured a parade of performances by some of music's biggest names including Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Phish, Arcade Fire, Christina Aguilera, Robert

Plant, Vampire Weekend, Charlie Wilson, and others.

Many of the highlights of the Festival were delivered by the hundreds of local artists who performed the gospel, blues, jazz, Cajun, and zydeco.

Jazz Fest 2015 will be held April 24 through May 3.
