Man sentenced to 25 years for St. Tammany Trace shooting

MANDEVILLE, LA (WVUE) -

A man was sentenced Monday to 25 years in prison for an attempted murder and armed robbery that took place in 2013 in Old Mandeville.

Jesse Stowe pleaded guilty in 22nd Judicial District Court before Judge Peter Garcia.

The crime happened on June 23 on the St. Tammany Trace. Within two days, Mandeville detectives had arrested Stowe.

Stowe's girlfriend, Lacy Bryant, was also charged with obstruction of justice and accessory after the fact. Bryant pleaded guilty on Oct. 17, 2013, and received a three-year suspended sentence and three years of probation.
