ST. TAMMANY PARISH, LA (WVUE) - St. Tammany Parish Sheriffs say that more than 75 robberies have been cleared with the arrest of three Slidell men.
Detectives say that numerous vehicle robberies were reported over the past several months. Officers say they were able to identify the suspects involved after receiving video surveillance from one of the victims.
On Thursday, detectives questioned three men in connection with 77 vehicle burglaries that have been reported in unincorporated St. Tammany Parish.
Wayne Fisher, 19, Gregory Simms, 20, and a 17-year-old minor confessed to committing multiple burglaries in at least 15 different subdivisions on both ends of the parish throughout the past six months.
The three were booked in the St. Tammany Parish Jail on three counts of simple burglary and one count of attempted burglary.
Officers say that two other men are wanted for questioning in the case. Police are searching for 18-year-old Chamar Jones and 19-year-old Curtis Keels. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Matt Bauer oat 985-809-8207.
