Two men shot were shot Tuesday after a man opened fire on a car that was backing out of the parking lot of a fast food restaurant at the edge of the St. Claude neighborhood.
The shooting - which was initially reported by police as a triple shooting - happened at about 9 a.m. at the corner of Franklin Avenue and Robertson Street.
Police said a black male walked up to a car with four people inside and began firing at the front windshield. One victim was struck in the head; the other was struck in the arm. The people in the backseat - a man and a woman - were injured by flying glass.
The victim with the head wound is in critical condition. The condition of the others is not known.
