KENNER, LA (WVUE) -

An arrest warrant was issued for 41 year-old Terry Speaks for the murder and dismemberment of Jaren Lockhart, according to the Kenner Police Department.

The arrest warrant charges Speaks with second degree murder and obstruction of justice.  Speaks was already in custody at the Federal Correctional Institute in Otisville, New York.

Speaks is due to be released in October, but will be extradited back to Louisiana. He also faces a second warrant charging him with failing to register as a sex offender.

Margaret Sanchez, 30, who was initially arrested May 7 and charged with second degree murder and obstruction of justice, remains jailed at the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center.

Her bond is set at $750,000.

Lockhart was last seen alive in early June 2012 with Speaks and Sanchez.

Days later, Lockhart's body parts washed ashore in parts of Mississippi.
