NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin wants the judge handling his sentencing to show leniency.
Nagin's attorney filed documents on Friday making the request.
He faces sentencing on July 2.
Nagin could be sentenced to as many as 20-years in prison.
Former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin has been found guilty on 20 of 21 counts in his federal corruption trial, including bribery, money laundering and fraud.
