Contractor steals ring from New England Patriots player

FALL RIVER, MA (WPRI/CNN) – A contractor working for a New England Patriots player is accused of stealing a $10,000 ring from his home.

According to the police report, left tackle Nick Solder says he noticed the Tiffany ring was missing from a jewelry box after leaving the house for the day.

Manuel Faria was one of the men working on the player's house.

Police found the ring at a local pawn shop where it was pawned for just $150, and the receipt had Faria's name on it.

Faria has been charged with larceny.
