Nearly 3,000 Entergy customers lose power in Kenner

KENNER, LA (WVUE) - A power outage that left about 3,000 people without power in Kenner is nearly completely repaired, according to the Entergy website.

The outage started at 1:54 p.m. and affected around 3,000 customers according to Entergy. Current maps show the number of people without power down to less than 200.

The outage affects customers in and around the Metairie Delta neighborhood, mostly between West Metairie and West Napoleon Avenues. 

An Entergy spokesperson said that a wire is down in the area and workers are still working to determine the cause.

Entergy estimates that power will be restored around 4 p.m.
