SLIDESHOW: La. Soldiers reunite with families

COVINGTON, LA (WVUE) -

A group of National Guardsmen were reunited Wednesday with their families in Louisiana.

The Covington-based 1021st and Gonzales-based 844tth Engineer Companies welcomed home more than 160 soldiers who have been in Kuwait for nearly a year.

The welcoming ceremony took place at the National Guard armory in Gonzales.
